Luongo a postseason shutout hero.

Roberto Luongo ShutoutCan you believe that perennial All-Star goaltender Roberto Luongo never had a playoff shutout before last night? Well, his 30-save performance in a 2-0 Game 2 win over St. Louis was his inaugural venture into playoff blanking history. Elliot Pap has the complete recap.

That Western Conference quarterfinal series is now headed to St. Louis with the Canucks up two games to one.

After the game, Blues head coach Andy Murray had some choice words for the Canucks in reference to the postgame scrap that ensued. But, as Tony Gallagher of The Province points out, Murray couldn’t even remember who he had out on the ice.

Opinion: One minute Colin Campbell wants to stop these postgame fracases from happening and then he backs off and all heck breaks loose. This is how tonight’s Boston-Montreal game could end, especially if the Bruins are about to go up 2-0. These less-talented teams don’t know what else to do with themselves when they lose.
