If you ask me, a ‘Cinderella’ in the Stanley Cup Playoffs can only be a team seeded 7 or 8. The most recent ones to make a run have been Edmonton (’06) and Anaheim (’03). I’d have to say… last night was one of the more exciting nights of hockey we’ve seen this season. The games in New York and Boston especially had a playoff feel.

I am at a loss of words after watching today’s game between the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. With the Rangers trailing the Bruins 1-0 in the third period, with less than ten minutes left to play, Sean Avery decides that he should skate by Bruins goalie Tim Thomas during a commercial break and “inadvertently” clip the back of Thomas’ helmet with his stick.
